Our Wedding Registry

Dear Family and Friends,
Things, things, things. Do we need more things? Invariably, the honest answer is no. Your presence at our wedding, without wishing to sound too cliché, really is the thing we care about most. We truly cannot wait to have so many of the people we love under one roof.
However.
For those who would like to mark the occasion with a gift, we have tried to put together a registry that feels like ‘us’. This does mean, rather exposingly, that 5 Hertford Street appears more often than is strictly defensible. Otherwise, the themes are probably what you would expect: our flat, the garden, art, cooking, laundry, and other signs that we are firmly - if not a little early - moving into middle age.
The pieces we have chosen are things we genuinely love: some beautiful, some useful, some more beautiful than useful. They sit, for us, in that dangerous category of coveted things one would probably never buy for oneself, but would be so delighted to own.
You will also see a few funds. We wanted these to feel personal rather than vague, so anything contributed there will go towards something specific: art for the flat, something found on our honeymoon, all things which can be attributed to the person who made it possible. Being highly sentimental, we like the idea of building a home surrounded by things connected to the people who mean the most to us.
With so much love,
